Governor Eno Honours NYSC Member Whose Appreciation Video Went Viral
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno has celebrated NYSC member Mary Etim after a video in which she expressed appreciation for the state's ₦80,000 monthly allowance to indigenous corps members gained widespread attention on social media platforms.
During a meeting at the Government House, Uyo, Governor Eno commended Mary's sincerity and gratitude, describing her response as a reminder of the value of appreciating positive initiatives. He reaffirmed his administration's commitment to supporting corps members, noting that the allowance is paid to both Akwa Ibom indigenes serving across Nigeria and non-indigenes serving in the state to complement the Federal Government's support.
Mary Etim thanked the Governor for fulfilling his promise to corps members, while the Commissioner for Youth Development stated that the initiative has eased the financial burden on beneficiaries and reflects the state's continued investment in youth welfare and development.
