U.S. Sanctions Nigerian National, Three Firms Over Alleged ISIS Financing Network
The United States government has imposed sanctions on a Nigerian national Mukhtar Adamu Muhammad, and three Bureau De Change (BDC) firms over allegations of financing terrorist activities linked to ISIS-West Africa.
According to U.S. authorities, the affected firms, Generation Currency, Manhattan Bureau de Change, and Nine to Nine Exchange were allegedly involved in moving funds through an international network spanning Nigeria, Türkiye, Syria, and France.
