The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), in collaboration with TotalEnergies, Poseidon Energy Services Limited, and PM4Success International, has commenced the Nigerian Content Human Capacity Development (NC-HCD) Training Programme under the Provision of Coiled Tubing and Nitrogen Pumping Services Project.

The initiative is aimed at strengthening Nigeria's local content drive by equipping young Nigerians with industry-relevant technical and professional competencies required to excel in the oil and gas sector. The programme reflects the Board's continued commitment to building indigenous capacity, reducing dependence on foreign expertise, and creating a highly skilled workforce capable of supporting Nigeria's growing energy industry.

Representing the Executive Secretary of the NCDMB, Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, the Manager of Human Capacity Development, Mrs. Tarilate Teide-Bribena, applauded TotalEnergies for its consistent investment in human capital development and its enduring partnership with the Board. She encouraged participants to approach the training with discipline, dedication, and professionalism, noting that the knowledge and experience gained would position them for greater opportunities within the energy sector.

Participants received comprehensive briefings on the objectives of the programme, welfare arrangements, and the code of conduct expected throughout the training. The orientation also featured an interactive question-and-answer session, providing trainees with the opportunity to gain clarity on the programme and its expectations.

Speaking during the event, Mr. Daniel Dents of TotalEnergies reaffirmed the company's commitment to collaborating with the NCDMB in developing a competent Nigerian workforce capable of meeting global industry standards. He emphasized that investing in local talent remains critical to the long-term sustainability and competitiveness of Nigeria's oil and gas industry.
