NIMC Introduces Free Digital NIN Slip Download via NINAuth App

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has announced that Nigerians can now download their official National Identification Number (NIN) Slip free of charge through the NINAuth App, eliminating the need for physical visits and payment of processing fees.

According to the Commission, the digital NIN Slip is official, verified, and accepted for identity verification wherever a valid NIN document is required. The initiative is aimed at improving convenience, reducing queues at enrolment centres, and providing citizens with seamless access to identity-related services.

NIMC encouraged Nigerians to take advantage of the service by downloading the NINAuth App to securely access their verified NIN Slip at no cost. The Commission noted that the platform also serves as a gateway to additional integrated digital identity services.
