According to the delegation, the initiative is designed as an independent international publication and documentary project that will document Lagos State's transformation into one of Africa's foremost megacities while preserving the Governor's leadership legacy. Prince Folayan explained that the project extends beyond documenting Governor Sanwo-Olu's public service, describing it instead as a broader account of Lagos' modern development and emergence as Nigeria's commercial and financial capital. He said the publication would examine the state's progress across key sectors, including transportation, housing, infrastructure, healthcare, education, technology, environmental sustainability, governance and economic development.

Governor Sanwo-Olu welcomed the delegation and commended the Eminent Nigerian Series and the Nigerian Diaspora Direct Investment Summit (NDDIS) for their longstanding efforts in promoting Lagos and Nigeria to international investors and the global diaspora community.
